Napa Valley Rocks!!!

POLICY
DESCRIPTION
Napa Valley placed American winemaking on the international stage during the mid-1970s when its rugged wineries were pitted against the best of Burgundy and Bordeaux during the Judgement of Paris. They did so well to emulate the best of French wine that even the French could not distinguish Napa Valley wines from their own. Today, it is considered one of the premier wine regions in the world producing some of the world's best wines and making distinctive American styles. How has Napa Valley evolved since those early days? What has been the influence of wine critics in its development? And what is the future of Napa Valley given changes in consumer tastes as well as economic and environmental factors? We'll explore these questions and more as we try delicious wines from this American wine treasure.

- Six wines will be tasted, and yes, we'll go beyond Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
- Artisanal cheeses will be served.
- Discounts available for wines tasted in the class that you’d like to take home!
- This is a seated wine tasting class. Space is limited. Don’t wait to sign up!
